Despite being surrounded by abundant trees, the historic Old Schoolhouse Theater's Pepto pink paint with yellow trim makes it hard to miss. The schoolhouse was originally built in 1896, and it became a theater in 1964. Since 1991, it has been home to Broadway on Sanibel, showcasing musicals and comedies, performed by professional actors. Performances include old favorites such as Godspell, and new ones like Sanibel Night Fever. The intimate theater seats 92. Individual tickets are USD25. Tickets may be purchased at the box office. Parking is free.
