Sanibel and Captiva Beaches

Beach at Captiva

The beaches of Sanibel Island are spectacular and unique to Southwest Florida. With an east-west orientation, this barrier island is a world renowned shelling destination. Some beaches feature picnic tables and amenities perfect for families, while others remain pristine and ideal for relaxation. Each Sanibel Island beach is unique in its wonder, waves and sand - you'll want to enjoy them all!

This secluded white sand beach is nothing short of pristine and quiet. There are no hotels surrounding it, so you feel the serenity of the ocean.

Located at the end of Captiva Dr., Captiva Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in southwest Florida.

Also known as Algiers Beach, Gulfside City Park is located right off Casa Ybel Road and features beach access, a nature trail, picnic area, barbecue grills, bike rack, restrooms, and outdoor shower.

Located mid-island, Tarpon Bay Beach is great for swimming, windsurfing, shelling, and sunbathing. The beach is just a short walk from the parking area, which features three handicap spaces and free bike parking.

Turner Beach is separated into two sections on both the Sanibel and Captiva sides of the Blind Pass Bridge. Turner Beach and Blind Pass Beach are great for fishing and shelling.
