Located mid-island, Tarpon Bay Beach is great for swimming, windsurfing, shelling, and sunbathing. The beach is just a short walk from the parking area, which features three handicap spaces and free bike parking. There are also restrooms, an outdoor shower, oversized vehicles parking, boat ramp parking, picnic tables, and barbecue grills.
Tarpon Bay Beach is known for its high sands and excellent shelling conditions. If you're lucky you might even spot an ice cream man to help cool off on a hot day.
